Feel the Anger

But don’t dwell on it.


It’s okay to get angry.

In fact, it’s essential for your healing process.

Allow yourself to get angry.

Especially if you haven’t done so.

But don’t stay angry too long.

Eventually, it’ll eat you up just as much as the guilt or shame.

You must let go and forgive to heal.

For you.

And make sure to put your foot down where it’s necessary.

Set those boundaries.

You have to teach others how to treat you.

But you don’t have to keep anyone who doesn’t listen in your life.

Including your old self.
